About Mt. Capra
Our 5th-generation, family-owned, grass-based goat dairy is located in the Pacific Northwest in Centralia, WA. This is where, for the last 92 years, we have been producing the highest quality goat milk products available. Every drop of milk we produce is transported 9 miles down the road to our very own processing facility where we gently transform it into nutritious and wholesome goat milk products.
Our regenerative approach to agriculture and nutrition guarantees that every living organism, from soil to people, is able to thrive.
Goat milk is much easier to digest and less allergenic than cow milk. Goat milk contains A2 casein, whereas most cow milk contains the inflammatory and reactive A1 casein.
Our goats live healthy, happy lives in the Pacific Northwest.
Double Bonded Protein is a delicious whole goat milk protein that contains the natural ratios of 80% casein and 20% whey protein. Casein is a slower digesting protein and helps to preserve current muscle, while whey protein is well known for building up new muscle. With a whole protein, you get the benefits of both.
The protein comes from grass-fed goat milk produced on our own small family farm in WA state.
Double Bonded Protein contains all of the essential amino acids and 4.4g BCAAs per serving.
Goat milk is much easier to digest than cow milk. Goat milk is an A2 milk, meaning it carries the A2 casein protein. Cow milk is more allergenic, but a fair amount of people who don't do well with cow milk tolerate goat milk fine due to the easier digestibility. Goat milk protein forms a softer curd in the stomach than cow milk.
Goat milk is also more alkaline due to it being higher in potassium and more suited nutritionally to the human body.
A great chocolate flavor that can be used in so many things from muffins and pancakes to smoothies and protein brownies. Tastes delicious with a banana, goat milk and ice.
Get creative and find your favorite way to use it!
Cutting edge research is continuing to show that whole protein foods containing both casein protein and whey protein net muscle gain higher than those containing merely whey protein isolate. Net Protein Gain (the amount of protein actually deposited in your tissue) is the most important aspect of protein supplementation. There are two factors that determine Net Protein Gain. Consider this: whey protein isolate has gained much popularity as it does a wonderful job of promoting Protein Synthesis. However, Whey Protein does not suppress Proteolysis at all, and that is a significant problem affecting Net Protein Gain. Casein Protein stimulates Protein Synthesis to a lesser degree but does an excellent job of suppressing Proteolysis.
Mt. Capra is a small family-run farm in the Pacific Northwest which, for nearly a century, has been producing premium whole foods and nutritional products from goat milk.
